Each charge line is priced at the rate the user entered; optional lines are excluded when left at zero.
The question it answers: What will this compute, storage, transfer, function, container, cluster or database cost us for the period, at our own rates?
The formula
Database cost = (Instance price × Instances × Hours) + (Storage price × GB) + Backup cost + I/O cost

What kind of calculation this is
Business input model. The answer depends on business figures only you can supply, such as your own costs, rates or volumes. No market or benchmark values are assumed for you.

- Storage is priced for the period entered; it does not model storage growing within it.
